I'm scheduled to play drums with Friday evening BD mainstay Todd Harper (piano), Chris Hagedorn (saxophone) and a possible gang of other players. A couple of years ago, Todd made a really excellent CD of short jazz lieder with poems, operatic singing, unique keyboard playing and stuff. He is an immensely creative guy. Chris and I have been making nice music for generations. Both of these guys are former schoolteachers.
