It's a Saturday night ska show at the illustrious Jazz Central Studios in Northeast/SE Minneapolis, across the street from Aveda at 407 Central Ave. Old-school Jamaican compositions and arrangements by the Skatalites, Joe Mayo, Tommy McCook and more. Skruffians may include Todd Baer (trumpet and comedy sketches), Joe Mayo (tenor sax), Jared Jarvis (bari sax), Brian Knox (keys), Park Evans (guitar), Tom Hutton (bass and brogue) and Rick Nair (drums). Some assembly required. Cover will probably be $8. Great music setting with some comfy seating and a pool table and sometimes wonderful food from Vanessa L.
